Collaboration Testimonial
“Our experience in collaborating with the Creative Digital Media students and their tutors has been very positive. Once we approached Douglas Street Campus to discuss the feasibility of our project, the enthusiasm, support and engagement from both the students and the tutors was excellent.
The completed project includes a short animation and three videos which explains the service we provide for our patients and is easily accessible – It is at a professional level which we are very proud of. We have no hesitation in recommending others to collaborate with the Creative Digital Media course.”

Douglas Street Campus and the teachers that I encountered in the two years that I was there, allowed me to discover my passion for all aspects of multimedia. It gave me the foundation and the confidence to apply for the BA in Multimedia in MTU. The skills and interest that I discovered in Creative Digital Media helped me produce and be involved in international award winning work, allowed me to help out various charities by volunteering the skills I learned to create promotional videos, websites and an app. Without the influence of Creative Digital Media in Douglas Street Campus, I would not have been able to achieve these feats… (the course) changed the direction of my life.

Testimonial
I initially joined the Creative Digital Media course to learn 3D computer graphics and image editing, but in this course I learned a wide variety of skills such as coding, video editing, VFX and sound production, all of which I have been able to apply to my work and take it to the next level. This course far exceeded my expectations and I learned a great deal more than I initially thought I would. Learning to use high quality equipment and industry standard software was something I found particularly useful, as well as receiving constructive feedback on my work. When I first started this course I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do once I graduated, but after two years in Douglas Street Campus I found that animation is my passion and I am now pursuing a career in film animation.
The atmosphere of the course and the college as a whole was always fun and positive, the tutors and staff were all incredibly kind and supportive and the experience I had in this course gave me the confidence I needed to apply for the BA in Creative Digital Media in MTU Cork. After finishing Level 6, I got a place in second year in BA Creative Digital Media through CCPS links between Creative Digital Media in Douglas Street Campus and MTU. Doing this course has changed my life completely.
