Course outline

Graphic design is the process of visual communication through images, words, or graphic forms. It encourages you to think creatively in order to communicate ideas and concepts that can inform, challenge and transform. Graphic designers create logos, advertisements, magazines, books and much more.

The aim of this 8-week course is to give students an introduction to fundamental Graphic Design skills. The course will take students through a few simple projects from conception through to final design, in the process learning practical skills in essential Adobe packages such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Requirements:

Basic computer and keyboard skills is a plus. No prior knowledge of design software is required.
