Course outline
‘A multi-sensory experience in fine art’
This 10-week course will immerse you in the world of sculpture and enable you to express tactile senses in multiple ways. You will gain new skills and express yourself creatively through your sense of touch. Students will use the medium of clay to produce their sculpture pieces.
During the course you will explore in a sensory way, sculpture from the past and talk about the historical background of sculpture. There will be a trip to the Crawford Gallery to experience sculpture first hand and finally the course participants will put together an exhibition on the college campus.
