Song writing workshop
Course outline
A series of workshops where I will share my knowledge and experience with anyone who is wanting to explore the world of song writing and creativity. The workshops are aimed at songwriters, lyricists and poets. Those that are right at the beginning of their creative journey as well those who have already created work.
The workshops will touch on a different theme each week, with a different song by an established artist being analysed and discussed. We will use a meditation to unblock our creativity and then have some time on our own to let our ideas flow. After that we will share any thoughts or creative ideas and share any feedback. This will always be on a completely voluntary basis – no one will ever be pressured into sharing anything.
A spirit of self-acceptance will be emphasised throughout the workshops. They will be a space free from judgement and criticism and will encourage the life-giving force of creativity to thrive.
No audio or video recording will be done.
